Three Jerome Artists, the 2012 Jerome Artists exhibition will feature the work of Felice Amato, Casey Hochhalter, and Tom Jaszczak, each of whom was awarded a 2011 Jerome Ceramic Artist Project Grant. This award recognizes artists who have displayed strong artistic development to this point of their careers and who promise further growth during the term of the grant and in the future. A free opening reception for the artists will be held on Friday, January 13, from 6 to 8 pm.

 Art in the Home-Goes Green

Bloomington Theatre and Art Center is pleased to announce Art in the Home- Goes Green, a bi-annual exhibition in the Inez Greenberg Gallery which coincides with the City of Bloomington’s Home Improvement Fair (February 25). - April 6, 2012.
This year’s exhibition will focus on artist created furniture and home accessories which are made from recycled, re purposed, or otherwise sustainable material while still focusing on the finest of craftsmanship. Exhibiting artists include: Felice Amato, Teresa Audet, Heather Cole, Garrett Glaser, Heidi Henderson, Marty Hicks, Jason Holtz, Fred Johnson, Julie Keller, Paul Klein, Julie Reeve, Tom Schrunk, Michelle Worms, and Cindy Vargas.
Special events associated with Art in the Home- Goes Green include an opening reception on Thursday, February 23, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., The City of Bloomington’s Home Improvement Fair on February 25, and an artist talk on March 29 at 7:00 p.m. The Inez Greenberg Gallery is located at 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road in Bloomington, MN. Gallery hours are Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. There is no admission cost.
