Directory to off to the printer
As I finish up the 2006 directory I am totally amazed by the accomplishments of the HTA membership. The quality and professionalism of the artists and advertisers is breath taking. It is a thrill for me to put together the directory and read and view each artists work. This annual directory is a very special concept and I hope as a group we never take it for granted. The HTA is the envy of so many artist groups. As I study other organizations and directories I am reminded repeatly about how much we have accomplished in such a short time with dedication and persistence. It is important to recognize the leaps of faith in the organization and the accomplishment each of you have made to make the publication and the organization possible. Simple things like learning how to make digital ads and copywriting or hiring someone to do it for you. The taking quality photographs of your work. Almost all of our members have invested in a website or are planning to. People put time aside to come to HTA meetings to share your experiences, studio techniques and learn new ideas. Most of all the members promote each other to improve awareness of tile resources. They might be basic but I would suggest that these issues have made the HTA the success it is today. I look forward to the 2006 season and all the events and opportunities that lay ahead. Thanks for your participation.
